Tank Capacity

Here is a simple way to determine approximately how many gallons is in your rectangular aquarium.

The math:

Multiply - Length x Width x Height in inches.

Now divide the above number by 231. This will give you the approximate capacity of your aquarium.

Example: 20L" x 10W" x 12H" / 231 = 10.39

(This is the dimensions for a standard 10 gallon aquarium.)
